International Coffee Hour starts Wednesday the 28th

The Northwest Missouri State University International Involvement Center is hosting International Coffee Hour again this year every other Wednesday starting next Wednesday.

Assistant Director for the International Involvement Center, Ashley Henggeler, says this activity provides an opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to connect.

"It's sort of an informal setting.  We have coffee and tea and cookies or candy and sort of thing.  Just a good opportunity to make friends and interact with other people, share their culture, and sort of learn the American side of things as well."

Henggeler also adds that the International Student Organization will be holding First Friday Culture talks.

"They generally pick a new topic each month.  We have a panel of students from different countries around the world and they just share their perspective and experience regarding that topic.  And then it's opened up to anybody who is attending to ask questions or comment as well."

Henggeler encourages not only international students but anyone to attend. International Coffee Hour is from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the International Involvement Center located in the B.D. Owens Library.
